Who is actually our best player?
|
Prior to December, it was not even a question- at least to most.
Now, is it clear cut? I know it's not quite like for like comparing defenders to strikers etc.
For me it's probably Lanzini. Really liking how he's having more of an influence in games as the main man pulling the strings. Getting a share of goals too.
Antonio and Reid right up there for me as well. Snodders has potential to be in the conversation.

I think we've got 5 or 6 players who are all very good, and would get in quite a lot of PL teams;
Reid Cresswell (form aside) Obiang Antonio Snograss Lanzini
As for who is best out of that lot - not a great deal in it if you ask me.

Lanzini, Kouyate, Antonio. In that order.

on his day Antonio, potential wise it would have to be Lanzini

If you look at our win/draw/loss percentage with a certain player in the side, or not in the side, that would give you an indication of our best outfield player.
Unfortunately on that basis, this season it might just be Andy Carroll.

I think Carroll is an excellent player.
Shame he's made of plastic really.

Actually I was really remiss not to mention Carroll.
He is probably our best when given a run of games injury free. Sad truth is that it never happens. He has been looking pretty superb of late.

Reid easy
Obiang closely behind
Lanzini needs to get back to last years from consistently before he is considered our best

important and best are two different things. Antonio is probably our most important at the moment due to the various positions he can play in.

Bar the last game Lanzini has massively flattered to deceive this season, would even go as far as to call him poor. I have major doubts he will fulfil his potential and can see him slinking off in a year or two.

Hasn't hit the form of last season but since Payet left he has improved.....and definatley has potential to be a top prem no 10

Ross, tell me his best position? The fact that many supporters will name a different position only emphasises the fact he has not excelled in any.
